When owners pay entry fees for a race and the race prize is all set, what happens with the owners entry fee? Where does it go to?
Thank you Ralph Jones. Ralph-jones1@sky.com

Answer: For each race entry:

£1.20 is paid to the Animal Health Trust,

£1.25 to the Retired Racehorse Welfare Fund and

£32.25 +VAT towards the BHA’s administration.

The remainder is transferred to the relevant racecourse and paid out with the prize money.
