The Colin Tizzard runner, Lostintranslation, has a big season ahead.

The 2020/21 National Hunt season is underway and it could pay to follow Lostintranslation in the campaign as the Colin Tizzard runner has proved he is one of the best chasers in training at the moment.

Lostintranslation was a +1100 (10/1) shot for the 3m2f contest last season but after his performance, he is likely to be a lot shorter in March.

Tizzard can be confident now that his horse sees out the Gold Cup trip. He had no problems up the hill at the end of the race. Any improvement this season will surely see the horse go close once again in 2021.

It is going to be an exciting season ahead for the talented chaser and backing him in the big races could prove to be a wise move.

Haydock Racecourse

As you can see from the racing results from Paddy Power, Lostintranslation made his seasonal reappearance in November at Carlisle last season.

Expect him to make his first start of the campaign next month ahead of the big Grade One contests.

The biggest win of Lostintranslation’s career so far came in the Grade One Betfair Chase at Haydock in 2019 and he can return to Lancashire to defend his crown this year.

Lostintranslation is the early +300 (5/2) favorite in the betting for the 3m race. This is the first big clash of the major players in the division with Santini, Bristol De Mai and Clan Des Obeaux all expected to line up.

Haydock is a course which really suits Lostintranslation so back him to defeat his rivals.

This race is always an early marker for the Cheltenham Gold Cup. Expect all the leading runners to come on for the run, though, as their trainers tend to ensure their horses peak at the back end of the season.

Tizzard Runner Can Be A Xmas Cracker In King George

Lostintranslation was far from his best in the King George in 2019. Jockey Robbie Power pulled up the horse three fences from home. It became evident why he struggled when he had a wind op not long after.

Now that those breathing problems are behind him, Tizzard’s horse has a great chance of returning to Kempton to win the feature contest of the festive programme on Boxing Day.

The bookmakers make Lostintranslation their +650 (8/1) second favorite. Clan Des Obeaux tops the ante-post market at +450 (7/2) as he looks to win the race for the third straight year, following his impressive performance last December.

It should be a fascinating clash between the pair at the Surrey Racecourse. The defending champion is the one they all have to beat, however, Lostintranslation is better value in the betting to come out on top.
