Why are we suddenly seeing complete meetings consisting only of NH flat races, mainly consisting of experienced hurdlers?
This seems to be a recent thing, previously NH flat races being 1 per meeting containing all inexperienced horses.
Answer: These NH flat race meetings are usually held by the all weather courses during the winter months due to inclement weather causing the abandonment of turf meetings.
Jumps trainers welcome this as it gives them an opportunity to give their horses, usually hurdlers, the chance to have a run in a competitive race.
