What is the full qualification criteria to run in the Aintree Grand National?

Answer: There are 3 main criteria -

1. Age - horses must be aged at least 7

2. Form - horses must have completed at least 3 recognised chases and to have finished in the top 4 of a race of 3 miles or more

3. Handicap - the horse must have achieved a BHA rating (OR) of at least 120. Horses from abroad must satisfy the BHA that they have achieved an equivalent handicap mark
