A good February! About 90% runners to prize money woo! Even got a mention on Irish TV this week…..to do with Pinot Rouge 3rd in a novice.

A week of achievements with boy Kingston Rock and This is Bob being 2nd. KR ( Paddy ) did no wrong and put off his chasing career as it certainly looks like he will win over hurdles first.

Bob. the syndicate have waited, and waited but he has come good to be just beaten with Charlotte Jones riding. The race was very short for him and we will look again over 2.4. The horses qualified for the finals in April are building up and its likely I may have more than one entry in some – which I hate but 2nd and 3rd prizes are still very good!

February has been an excellent month racing and its not finished yet as Beaumesnil heads for Wetherby on Thursday.

March looks to be no less exciting with the early weeks full of runners. Jimmybegood for the Naughty but Nice Syndicate heads for Newcastle for his debut for the group and indeed for him! They too deserve success as he has not been easy but we are ready to start – he did his stalls trial last week and shied at the wings, stood on his own foot, pulled the shoe off, nearly threw Jamie off and then went on to complete his stalls test perfectly!

Dandycan who did one race last year also goes to Newcastle in the race after Jimmy – he has strengthened up a lot and I expect both him and Jimmy to make a good account of themselves. Then its off to Doncaster with Pinot Rouge for Stuart and Steve – big race - a listed mares. Velasco may go to Doncaster on the Sunday a good race for him. So
