Hi Susan Corbett's Newsletter: Well a very busy week starting on Sunday at Newcastle where, after a slow start, Mekbat actually was quite impressive and if not blocked at a vital stage would have been in the mix! Next we went to Hexham with Kingston Rock who had come on a lot from his first run and nathan set about educating him in the race – upsides, in front etc and came 4th. At Newcastle Velasco was impressive with his front running style and just probably needed his first run back – still a good 3rd. Em Meme Temp just made a few errors in his jumping and we will go back to 2.4 when he runs next – still 5th and no disgrace. Next came our Head lads Josh own horses for his first run in a bumper – he did nothing wrong just galloped and was very settled – especially compared to some in the race! He is shaping to be a good horse. Ask my Heather is a quandary and so we got the Dick vet head person Padraig to come and overground scope him – his wind op is fine so we are still head scratching! Konik King we have retired and delighted that Nicola – daughter of Sheila who is in his syndicate has bought him and so we are now looking for another horse for that syndicate… Talking of new syndicate/[partnerships the mare Pinot Rouge is shaping very well and has passed her MOT from our vets. This week is fairly busy with Sedgefield Tuesday – Atomic Angel tries her talents over Fences again – last run at Sedgefield she was 2nd Edward takes the ride and she will carry no weight – guessing no Sunday Lunch for Edward! Kelso – Wednesday – Blame Rose has her first run Photo: Atomic Angel practising Susan: email:girsonfield@outlook.com Tel: 7713651215 regards Chris |
