What a thrilling race the Clarence House Chase at Ascot proved to be on Saturday with Shiskin just overhauling Energumene in the dying strides.

There is every chance of another ding dong battle between the two at Cheltenham in March.

A similar contest took place at the new Lingfield Million Festival over the weekend. Dashel Drasher and Two For Gold took on the ever popular Bristol De Mai.

Dashel Drasher had the race at his mercy in the run at the finish but was just touched off by Kim Bailey's Two For Gold who fought back to reclaim the lead on the line.
