Newsletter late again tut tut…Well first of all we have had a great start to February with 7 runners 2 x 1st, 2 x 2nds, 3rd and two could have been better – however Royal Prospects run at Nnewcastle was one of his best in a better race. So huge congratulations to the team keeping these horses fit through rain and wind and freezing conditions!

Velasco disappointed us for enough time for most of his owners to back out. However Samantha was not deterred and her patience has been rewarded ( again ) . A great front running ride by Nathan Moscrop over a shorter distance.

The rest of the yard continue to build to fitness or towards their next races. The horses on the sick list are back in work including Theatre Light – we have no runners this week apart from Wotyoudunnow Buddy at Musselburgh - but will have quite a few in the mid – late Feb slot and Kingston Rock goes to Carlisle on Monday. Our Flat youngsters have come to fitness very quickly but we are waiting for the turf – apart from newby Kaidu bought from Tatts and will run for Castle View and Girsonfield Racing Club. He runs on the 22nd Feb – last out he was 3rd ridden by Holly Doyle.
