Well, every opportunity this week we were balloted out or the races abandoned! So instead, I took our little lorry down to Wiltshire as it had certain issues – so I drove around 700 miles there and back – shuttled around in a small van courtesy of George Smith horseboxes – then reversed into a tractor bucket in the farm yard! Hi ho

Looking ahead we have Les Legacy on his second attempt over fences at Ayr tomorrow – followed by Velasco and Beaumesnil at Hexham – if its on... safe tomorrow with Ayr – best ground in the country I think! Then some fancy footwork at Newcastle on the night of the Owners Christmas Party ( remember raffle prizes please! ) we have Royal Prospect and Gowanbuster entered at Newcastle last two races! If the weather permits us we have a big December ahead:-

14th Beaumesnil if Hexham is cancelled

16th Gowanbuster and Royal Prospect

18th Musselburgh – Champ Royal

19th Catterick Blame Rose

23rd Kingston Rock and Royal Prospect – both in the Novice Hurdle at Newcastle

26th Wetherby – Beaumesnil

29th Dec Kelso Johnny Dogs and more...
