A busy week with Youngsters 'Rolo' and ' Jimmy' being ridden away and now joining the big boys in lots doing steadies up the gallop. All the jumpers are in work now with a half way house of being out in the field at nights and in to work in the morning – getting fitter faster as they walk around the fields all night!

Konik King went to Perth and was 5th and jumped well ( apart from 1! ). So pleased with his progress – he may venture over 2.4 next time out. Nathan Moscrop will take over from Sam Coltherd, until Sam returns, as our go to Jumps Jockey and will be in every week to ride out.

The two year olds were all geared up with a first run for Infinite Honour at Musselburgh. He was difficult to manage when he came from the sales in October but did not put a foot wrong in his race – well done to my staff who have had the patience and expertise to get him over his bad behaviour! He was 5th and just tired at the end of the race – watch out next time!

Next out was Clear Angel – his bad travelling is well documented but traveling loose in the lorry has seen a great change – Harry reported how chilled he was also going into the stalls and down to the start. 3rd in a 0 – 90 Flat race was an excellent result from the horse rated 52 that we started with in 2021. He is lined up for a big race at York on the 24th August – if we get in as he will be bottom weight! Congratulations in order for Harry Russell one of our Flat jockeys who has now lost his claim after riding 95 winners!

Wednesday -9th August at the sales looking for a Syndicate horse to replace poor Naughty George.

Saturday 12th August at 2.00pm – Owners Open Day!

Saturday 9th Septmeber – National Racehorse Week – our Open Day 10.30 am- 3.00pm.
